Exciting Matching Grant Challenge!

Greetings and Happy New Year!

We are excited to announce that we have obtained matching grants from The Wildflower Foundation and an anonymous donor which will potentially raise $120,000 for Hospeace House. We are titling this, “The Wildflower Challenge”. These donors will match $60,000 of community donations but we need to raise this dollar amount by July 2023. Every donation will count toward this challenge and this money will support Hospeace House for the next year.

We are proud to state that Hospeace House has served Ontario and Yates counties since 2003 as a hospice house and then since 2018 as a comfort care home. We have been able to provide around the clock care as a direct result of community commitment of volunteer service and sustained funding.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were negatively impacted with decreased funding used to provide care at no cost to the families we serve. If we are to remain a viable contributor to the community, we need volunteers and sustainable and continuous funding sources.
